Our sea kayak tour offers a unique chance to paddle on an amazing coast-line located on south Rethimno region of Central Crete. From Damnoni bay you will discover the pirates cape ,Kalypso , snorkel into turquoise waters and admire the huge vertical cliffs of Plakias. Small groups as always!
Itinerary
We will meet you at Damnoni bay , 40 minutes scenic drive from Rethimno. Once there you will get you kayak , the lifevest, drybag and of course your paddles!
After a short course about how to use your paddles we start immidiately our kayak trip!
We sail to the west passing next to a beautiful rock formations. Here the water color is amazing and crystal clear. After 30 minutes we reach Kalypso cape.
Time for swimming and depth exploration with our snorkels!
After our snorkeling activity we back in our kayaks! We will paddle next to sea-gals nests under the vertical cliffs of the coast-line
Shortly we will reach under Plakias old mine tunnels! Once we tie our boats together its time for a short walk through the tunnels admiring the sea from above – Optional walk until paligremnos summit is recommended!
On our way back you will have time to reach some medium height rocks from where you can jump into the sea! We will take you also on a small bay for some last minute privacy before we reach our base at Damnoni!
