At the roots of Agrafa Μountains located the most beautiful lake of Greece! Plastiras lake fascinates you with its beauty. We aim for a two-day hiking in a truly magical landscape of fir trees ! Through the centuries-old paths that the inhabitants used daily in their lives, and with our starting point Agrafa Refuge at 1540m here we will feel the real hospitality of the Thessalian land. the region offers gentle forest trails and panoramic peaks which will impress us.

DAY 1

Starting from Athens city centre early in the morning we heading nortwest , 450 km- 5 hours by bus. Afrer a short stop in the middle of our trip we will arrive at lake plataeu around noon.

Horse riding

Its time for a horse ride around the lake. The area hosts rich vegetation and view to high summits of Agrafa range!

Hike to Hut

We will approach the hut walking into a forest of firs. The hike is about 6 km and easy enough for everyone. In the evening its time to rest on an amazing cozy hut eating our meal!

DAY2

After our breakfast there are 2 alternative routes to follow. The first one lead us up to 2154m summit of Voutsikaki. The 360 view is just amazing. The second option is to ascend the first summit direct from the hut at 1840m. Then we will follow the path back to the lake.

Return to Athens

Once we get back to our bus we make a stop at a traditional taverna for lunch before our return to Athens city around 22.00pm
